Etain Software, formerly known as EG Information Consulting, provides customised software solutions to customers across a broad range of industry sectors. The new brand identity, created with design support from Invest NI and the European Regional Development Fund, is part of a wider export marketing strategy which includes plans to exploit the lucrative US technology market.
The fit-out began with stripping the existing interior that remained from the previous office layout. An entrance hall, waiting area with a flat screen television and reception desk were installed to incorporate Etain graphics and create a strong presence as visitors arrive.
The staff kitchen area, ladies and gents bathrooms were completely refurbished to create a more comfortable working environment for Etain’s employees. Beech desks were manufactured to provide a productive and hard-wearing workspace with neutral tones. In addition, low energy lighting was installed to enhance the office by replacing the previously inadequate lighting.
The existing partitions were removed from the large meeting room to install frosted glass partitions and create two mid-sized meeting rooms. The furniture was also manufactured or supplied by ALD Fit Out; this included two bespoke conference tables, glass presentation boards, chairs and two flat screen televisions.
White cabinetry was installed throughout the office to create a highly modern look; all units were fitted with door poppers to maintain the clean, straight lines throughout the office. A stainless steel recycling unit was built into one area of cabinetry to encourage employees to recycle waste without affecting the overall design.
ALD Fit Out project managed the refurbishment to ensure that the work was carried out during evenings and one weekend to ensure that the office experienced minimal disruption and maximum productivity throughout the refurbishment.
