O’Neills opened the Official Widnes Vikings Sports Store in Widnes Town Centre to coincide with the opening home match of the 2009 season. The outlet stocks a range of items including Viking’s training and leisurewear as well as home and away replica shirts. O’Neills had difficulty finding a company that could provide a complete solution within such a short time-frame but ALD agreed and made it happen.
The Fit-Out involved an extremely quick turnaround, beginning with a shell and finishing with a fully fitted sports store. Once the in-house design was approved by the client, we worked hard in our workshop to generate the graphics and build the shop fitting equipment, bespoke counter and backdrops. The original walls were rendered and white back-panels installed, the windows were dressed with bespoke backdrops and German commercial grade flooring was fitted. An additional touch can be seen in the changing rooms as the artwork provides a replica of the Widnes Vikings’ very own changing rooms.
